Non-sampling errors

Some errors just cannot be calculated, although they may be controlled and minimized. Those are called non-sampling errors arising out of:

• Outdated demographics or electoral data used for  samples preparation

• Badly written questionnaires (questions that induce to certain answers, lack of objectivity, inadequate order, inaccessible vocabulary, etc.)

• Ill-trained interviewers

• Unexpected occurrences in connection with survey theme

When non-sampling errors failed to be controlled, they may change radically the results and, consequently, the survey interpretation and review.
